In order to develop educational and research activities and to create suitable grounds for the participation of professors and students in the production of science, a memorandum of educational and research cooperation between Ilam University of Medical Sciences and Wasit University of Iraq on 2nd November, 1400 signed by Dr. Mohammad Karimian and Dr. Nasir Kazem Javad Al-Maliki arrived
. This meeting was held in the presence of Ilam University of Medical Sciences, vice chancellors, heads of faculties, heads of research centers, and research management of the university in the campus 1 building of the University of Medical Sciences. The Iraqi visiting team then visited all the facilities of the university
The signing of this memorandum, which was initiated by the head of the international working group and the cooperation of the university's vice chancellor, includes cooperation and participation in joint research projects, holding joint speech, roundtables and seminars, exchange of scientific information and access to them. Planning and holding joint workshops and other scientific and specialized collaborations.
